Well at the posting of the intial site, progress is absolutely none, beyond the site itself.  Presently the Ugly Race Team is scouring eBay, Craigslist, Cars.com, Autotrader and ugly nasty neighborhoods for a suitable victim, ah worthy vehicle. 

How Ugly got here?

Remember, a witty body shop man, OK give credit where its due, Mark Kinler of Delkin Motorsports, www.delkinmotorsports.com coined the phrase after someone insisted on putting a car back on the track without a spa treatment first.  The reason is because normally Mark at Delkin, takes corvettes down to the bare naked fiberglas and restores them immaculately, so the mazda miata wasn't pretty in his mind to begin with, let alone with the mismatch of body panels below.
