Ugly Racing's Goal

The ugly mugs enjoy the below events a great deal, but there they compete aganst each other.  The common goal, the sticky mess that has glued these misguided gear grinders together, is the 24 Hours of LeMons.  That isn't a typo.  The 24 Hours of LeMons is a brilliant diversion for those who take their hobbies a little too seriously.  The concept is simple, over the course of 24 hours, complete more laps and distance then your competition.  Oh, did we mention this is all done in $500.00 cars.  That's right take the old wreck up on blocks in a neighbors yard, and flog it to death.  Read all about it here, www.24hoursofLemons.com.  The ugly mugs hope to be at the Houston, TX. Event in October, if you're here on this site, log on to the LeMons website, send them an e-mail, tell them you want Race Hard Race Ugly there!  Auto racing has gotten way to pretty, the NASCAR boys look like models, and Danica Patrick is doing Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues, Come on, bring on the Ugly!

Grand Bayou Roadrace Series

Team Race Hard Race Ugly's home track is No Problem Raceway Park, in Belle Rose, LA.  There a grassroots level roadrace series is contested over the fall and winter, October thru March.  Remember here in South Louisiana a typical August day can be 90 degrees with 90 percent humidity, not really a good day for Nomex.
